2. General Description

The Kimera Heritage is a purebred preamplifier and saturator designed to push your amplifier's input stage to the limit with a warm, organic, and ferocious tone. Inspired by the legendary Höfner preamplifier, this circuit is highly reactive: it cleans up magically when you roll back your guitar’s volume and roars with authority when cranked. It is the sound of vintage germanium elevated to maximum contemporary fidelity.

3. Key Features

• The Heart of the Beast (NOS Germanium): At its core beats a strictly selected GT404 NOS (New Old Stock) Germanium transistor, measured and hand-tuned to its exact sweet spot. This asymmetrical calibration generates a rich harmonic saturation, delivering the coveted tone of a tube amplifier on the verge of collapse.

• Zero Noise: The circuit incorporates an optimized power filtering system that guarantees exceptionally low background noise—a challenge successfully overcome in germanium designs.

• Luxury Build: Aircraft-grade aluminum chassis featuring a spectacular, hand-painted Black Hammered finish. Each pedal is visually unique and crowned with the imposing graphic of the mythological beast.

• Extreme Efficiency and Dual Power: Ultra-low consumption (< 5mA) that respects the natural dynamics of germanium. It can operate with a standard power supply or an internal 9V battery to completely isolate the circuit and achieve maximum tonal purity.

4. Intuitive Controls

• FORCE (Volume): Controls the master output level. Its sweep ranges from a transparent boost to fatten your signal, to a massive push designed to naturally saturate your amplifier’s power stage.

• BITE (Gain): Controls the level of aggression and saturation of the circuit. It navigates smoothly from a subtle, crystalline crunch to a dense, textured saturation full of character.

• FILTER (Tone): A high-precision equalization control. Open it to cut through the mix when using dark guitars (humbuckers), or roll it back to tame harsher frequencies in single-coil pickups.
