2. General Description
The Overdrive Sustainer 2 (OS-2) is an audiophile-grade tool for saturation and signal conditioning. It is designed to emulate the natural, rich, and harmonic breakup of a high-end vintage tube amplifier, fully controllable at any volume.
Beyond its exquisite drive, the OS-2's most crucial electronic feature is its Class A High-Impedance Unity Gain Preamplifier Buffer. This design ensures maximum linearity, resulting in legendary transparency. It is incredibly sensitive to picking dynamics and the guitar’s volume pot, allowing the player to modulate distortion directly from their hands—transitioning fluidly from a compressed clean boost to a rhythmic crunch or a devastating lead tone with infinite sustain.

Absolute Signal Integrity (Class A): Its ultra-high input impedance ensures your guitar pickups "see" the ideal electrical load, allowing the instrument to perform at its full tonal splendor, even with multiple pedals in the chain.

4. Intuitive Controls
The OS-2 is designed not to drastically alter the base sound of your instrument or amp, but to enhance it:
VOLUME: Controls the overall output. Its generous headroom allows the pedal to be used as a massive push for your amplifier's tubes.
DRIVE / SUSTAIN: Adjusts the circuit's gain. It covers a spectrum ranging from subtle compression that caresses the notes to a dense, fluid, and vocal saturation for blues and rock leads.
TONE: A passive EQ control—subtle yet tremendously effective. Perfect for sculpting high frequencies and achieving the final "glue" without ruining the guitar's natural midrange.
