2. General Description
If you are looking for the legendary attack and "velcro" texture of a classic Zonk Machine, but demand the stability and reliability of high-end modern equipment, this is your pedal. The Zonk is a handcrafted, exhaustive tribute to the revered ZONK MACHINE MKI & MKII.
Unlike mass-produced replicas, this fuzz was designed to stand out. Its tuning emphasizes upper-mid frequencies, guaranteeing that your sound will cut through any band mix without getting lost in low-end "mud." Despite its aggressive nature, it is incredibly dynamic: it responds with extreme sensitivity to your guitar’s volume pot, allowing for fluid transitions from a crunchy overdrive to a destructive harmonic saturation.
3. Key Features
Point-to-Point (P2P) Construction: PCB-free assembly. Each component is hand-soldered directly to the next, achieving an ultra-short signal path, imperceptible noise levels, and an interior that is a true work of wiring art.
Selected Silicon NOS Transistors: Utilizes New Old Stock silicon semiconductors individually measured for gain and low noise. This provides the organic, unpredictable character of vintage germanium while completely eliminating temperature instability.
Interactive Dynamics: Designed to interact directly with the impedance of your guitar pickups, offering a palette of cleans and crunches right at your instrument's volume control.

4. Controls
DWELL (Volume): Master control with a massive output reserve, designed to mercilessly punish your amplifier's preamp stage.
CHARACTER (Texture / Bias): Provides total control over the fuzz profile. Its range allows you to navigate from open, massive, and aggressive tones to the famous broken, "sputtery," and gated effect that defines the original Zonk sound.
COLLECTOR (Gain): Adjusts the amount of circuit saturation, with a useful and musical range across the entire spectrum of the potentiometer.
